Divers-Gens. First and foremost a name that highlights the fact that diversity is part our people and people are part of our diversity. Supported by our emblematic characters and the symbolism of our bracelets, we want to raise awareness in the community of the various 2SLGBPTQIA+ issues.
The project began on May 17, 2008, the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia. Worn as much by people from diverse backgrounds as by allies, the bracelet is designed to show solidarity in the fight against all forms of discrimination related to 2SLGBPTQIA+ issues.
Did you know that the choice of equipment is also part of the awareness process? Indeed, the rope allows you to take the time to create contact with the other. The discoloration of the wooden beads, meanwhile, is a metaphor to illustrate that we must always relaunch the fight and renew our commitment as allies.
We would also like to highlight the involvement of young people with intellectual disabilities from the Haute-Ville high school who actively participate in the creation of our bracelets.
